Description
Here's the final version of Blackberry Princess. She was originally created to use for my tutorial on hair curls: [link]I have issues with some of the scanning colours. The blackberries scanned in VERY purple (more than I would have liked) and the extra strands of purple hair painted in came out darker than they are in reality.
Still, it's another original character (why do I always make up female OCs rather than Male?...couls girls are pretty and I have more fun with them. Oh...and...BOOBIES! X3).

You do want a little critique, right? The blackberries look a little like grapes... I think if you left out the last little ball on the end, the one that makes the bunches look kinda pointy, they would look more like berries.

Hmm. Blackberries coming out dark purple are OK since most blackberries are, in fact, black! *shot*
I believe the colours that I'm guessing came out too dark offer an interesting contrast so I wouldn't worry too much. Over all the piece itself is pretty daggon good. And now I crave blackberries. Hmm...

I always used to make up female OC's cs they were justa lot easier to draw... XD Now I like to draw guys tho... cos I can make them uber smexy.... tehehe...
The purple shades are very very pretty... and her outfit is also very cute. She doesn't look to happy though, but shes still pretty kewl!

I really love the colour, OO. Its like alot is going on in the picture rather than just a plain old..um..picture? lol The curls are so..curly, the flowers are so..flowery..behold my mighty description

I like her expression. It's kinda bittersweet, just like the berries, you know? (Well, I think they're kinda bittersweet, but I may have weird tastebuds.) The paint splatters are my favorite part. n_n
My only qualm is that her left breast looks a tad bit smaller than her right.. Maybe it's just me/the way she's turned.. (It looks worse in the thumbnail than the full-size.)

I know people seem to bring up the issue about breasts being slightly different sizes. It doesn't bother me that people expect them to be equally perfect, but generally, women always have one breast slightly bigger than the other (usually the one on the side they use the most...say...right breast if they're right-handed).

Upon closer inspection though the way they're sitting makes sense why I'd see them like that.

this is so lovely, Kai! I notice you've introduced a few muted colors into the background ('course you coulda been doing this the whole time, haha how blind am I :B ) like in the leaves and the delicate spatterings of light purple highlights. in fact, overall the color palette seems a bit more delicate than usual, it's very nice :3 it really allows certain vibrant features like her eyes and the deep purples of the blackberries to pop!
the composition also looks very well thought out. the blackberries form a nice line that frame her face so well; her, erm, bustline helps in that too x3
hm some of the purple spatterings look like little purple freckles on her face xD so cute!

The coloring is nice and the curls are gorgeous but her face is blank. I'm feeling no emotion from her eyes or lips. There is nothing from the pose either. And the blackberries look more like grapes... but someone already stated about them <.<; I also agree with about the cheeks and breats. Those are the only complaints. None the less good attempt

Yeah, I find that alot of people do prefer to draw girls, maybes its because of the shape of their bodies are just smooth lines

I love the colours you chose for her, though there is a lot of purple, you didn't overdo it and it looks fantastic! She really is the blackberry princess isin't she? ^^ I personally love the way you have them actually IN her costume, like in her hair and around her neck. Whoever says that they look like grapes has obviously never seen a real blackberry up close >.<
