Description
One image from a chibi Calendar I am making to sell on Deviant Art. The Calendar will feature all 8 of my element goddess' (From my manga) for each month - plus four new goddess who are made for the calendar only. Once complete, the Calendar will be on sale at DA as well as individual prints of each girl which will be up once they've been submitted.This is Magji, goddess of Water. Representing the month of: July.
THIS is by far my fave of all the girls that I've done so far. ^_^ I'm just really happy with how she turned out - and Magji has such great hair (even if it IS annoying to do it in all the manga pages - yikes!)
Over half-way there now! Whoo, there's honestly only 2 more that I have to sketch...but the rest are at least down on paper...I feel like I've gotten off my butt and really done some work these holidays with these. ^_^

(well, unless if it IS your character Magji since the commissioner didn't state her name, just Water Goddess.)

Nope, never heard of that person. Magji is my character and I have her and her current design as it appears here for quite a few years now...since 2005 is when I first brought out her design, I think. There's obviously some design like-ness there like the underdress on the coat and bubbles on the overcoat, and star hooking up the coat at the collar, but it's not 100% like-like. X3 So either:
* It's just a random thing that the two designs have similarities (most likely)
* They saw my character and wanted to use some designs in their own character (and it's a post modernisim world, after all. I don't mind. :3)
* They wanted a commission of my own character (which I don't mind either. XD)
Either way, it's no harm done. Thanks for bringing it to my attention, though, it's very interesting. :3

One suggestion...
Save your deviations as a PNG file if there have negative space. Then you don't need to worry about dA always changing their background color everytime a new site layout comes into effect.
