Would we call this...revenge? Lord knows...I see enough fanart and fanfiction of these two dying all the time because fangirls don't like having them as competition (It always makes me lol - oh noes! They're stealing a fictional boy I wanna screw!).But yes - Winry and Keira are not only alike in the 'hated by over-the-top fangirls department'...but they're both so crazy about mechanics...I could see them getting along really well together in some bizzare alt. Universe cross-over. X3
Winry also looks kinda cute in this style...such a shame this is my first time drawing her.
...Jak is older than Ed, thus he's allowed to be hornier too. *clunk*

I don't know these characters, but the message is clear. I've certainly seen other fanfics do things like that: Mary Sues gets all crazy and start bashing the original characters to get at some object of their desire. The stories are almost always pointless too. I love this strip, especially the fan-girls expressions when getting smacked. I'm morbid, I know. On those two panels, I was hearing the Half-Life's "crowbar into an enemy" sound effect.

I may not be a fan of EdWin(it can be cute at times I guess), but I love Winry. Ok, so love is an understatement. She's spifftastic and filled with niftyness and neat-o pie. And it makes me sad when people bash her. So very very sad. And it just pisses me off when people kill her for no reason other than zomg ah haite dat biyatch soo much!!!!!!!!!!etc. Ugh. It's called plot, people. Kill the characters for a reason significant to said plot, or leave them alone and let them frolic freely and be happy potatoes.
Well, I haven't a clue who Keira is, but I'm sure if I did I'd think she was kickass too. So yes. Power to the mechanics! And such.
And also, that last panel is adorable and hilarious on very many different levels. I love how they're both covered in blood but are just going on about mechanics and they look so damn cute! The cute! It kills me! In a good way! Oh, and Ed shuffling away there is great. xD This deserves a fave, definitely.
One last note...I love Winry's little black tube top, or censor bar as my friends and I have dubbed it. It's cute. And it works on her. Especially because she has those nice ok enough fangirling from me, I'll get to the point: Kickass picture, hilarious, and it's funny 'cause it's true. I don't think anyone could've said it better.

Pink hair scares Jak. LOL. Made my day PERIOD because them super obsessed fangirls need a life outside of fictional characters. It's okay to have a crush or attraction to game/cartoon/whatever characters, it's when you get TOO obsessed when you need to step outside back into reality. Heh.
