Image I'm currently working on of some of my own characters - once the finished version is up, I'll put this into my scrap book.Characters from one of my orginal manga stories. Ended up with the four elemental goddess', who I re-designed from a really old chibi pic that I did of them. Of course, Zuri's been with me since the start of DA.
Left to right:
Zuri - Fire Goddess. Flower = Rose
Magji - Water Goddess. Flower = Lilly
Midori - Earth Goddess. Flower = Tulip
Kowahi - Wind Goddess. Flower = Daisy
This is simply the inks with some of the 1st layers of marker on it. S'gonna take a while to finish it.

That looks so good! The four element symbols are great.
Nice how you gave each goddess - besides their own color - other adjustements as well, with the flowers and clothes.

I just stared really closely at the screen, and I COULD see some of the blue in Magji's pannel. I love Magji and Kowahi's dressed the most. And ESPECIALLY the daisies! (fave flower!)

I only wanted to go for 4 elements...and these ones are the typical ones we know of (in Western culture, at least. If it was Eastern too, there would be a whole lot more as well

Well, I'm the epitome of twisted logic, so I sit back and think 'Ooo, fire, water.... BORING.' So I think up wierd thinks like Mind and Sound and Speed. Then there's just Pure, which would be like energy.
If I was as artistically talented as you, I'd draw them myself. But a quick peruse through my gallery will tell you; I'm not up for that.

What i find interesting is how all their names are flowers. The elements have always been a fave...er...element of mine in a story. Topnotch work on the inking and the current colorings so far.

the red eyes remind me of this albino pet rat i had once. both were pretty lil eyes. this is very well done even though its not done. i dont think i ever saw that ol chibi drawing. im gonna go look is that ok?

*shrugs* Well, the Water one's name is a play on the word 'Maji' which is Swahilii for 'Water', and the Air one's a play on the Maori word for yellow, so I don't see why not. XP

They're all very pretty ^_^ I thought the wind godess' name was Kowhai at first, wich would have made sense, since she's yellow.

Its very nice! The drawing itself is very pretty and the colors just bring it all out. I just think your missing a little blue on the blue girls flower. But thats about all. Also, I love those simbols, did you get them from somewhere or make them on your own?
