Description
This was actually drawn to be used as a prop for my film I'm doing for the final assignment on my course. But seeing as I had to ink and colour and make it all pretty - I figured it was worth sharing here and making it a print as well. ^^Zuri and her sisters (left to right): Kowhai , Midori, Zuri and Magji.
As for the lack of forehead symbols - parts of my film include animation, and because Zuri is pretty complex in design, I tried to simplify a few of her features - one of them was not using the forehead symbol (no need) so to keep with consistancy, I didn't draw in any symbols on this image - otherwise it wouldn't have fit with the rest of the film.

I just can't help myself. I love the mixture of Kowhai's yellow-gold-sheened black hair. 
And I love Midori's transparent green shirt...or...shawl? Oh well, whatever it is, I absolutely love it as well (and I'm not a big fan of green. 
And of course, blue and black are always wonderful colours to mix together. Very soothing.
Ah, what the heck, I love 'em all!

So bright and colourful, very nice. I love their names too, they just so different. Kind of annoyed about all these people that can't think of proper names for their characters, but i think you have done really well here. Zuri looks so cute.

The names for my characters for this series (Solo Flame) were insipred from different words in different cultures. Most common ones are Maori (New Zealand native language), Japanese, Swahili as well as a lil' but from French, Italian/Norweigen (name meant the same in both languages) and Spanish. ^^

oh my, it's the 4 sisters in a cutesy illustration! ; ; so pretty!
it's nice to see them all bunched up together so you can see the consistancies and their differences. xD their colors are so bright... that's one thing i've always loved about the girls. magji is my personal favorite here; her facial structure is so adorable, and i love the work done on her wavy hair... the deep blues and the vibrant lighter blues. the pen strokes on all of the girls hair are wonderful... very nice and smooth! <3
and of course zuri is as cute as ever - i love the way her hair flips onto her cheeks like that. XDD very cute; and she's so tiny! 
mrhh, only kowhai could pull off such bright sun-burst yellows. ; ; i love her lips!
