I had a whole spewl planned to go along with this involving Devil Fruit theories and character back-story and all that. Now it's midnight and I want to put this up and sleep instead.Granted, I'm sure it makes sense to One Piece fans at least (yes, the Hito Hito no Mi/Human Human Fruit is pink. PINK IS ALWAYS THE RIGHT CHOICE!)

Great to see this colored, I really loved the sketch. I like you put his herd in the distance, I always pictured that he stumbled upon the fruit because he had to look for food completely on his own. Great stuff!

We don't know. Oda won't reveal it to us yet (Luffy's one originally did in one of the older pre-story comics, but there's not telling if that plot moved over to the main story or not).

There is a chapter that They talk of a very rare or mysterious tree that sprouts a fruit every 50 or so years, and that's why these fruits are so rare. I don't have any source though.

Well with this picture, I think it's wonderful. The sense of depth is amazing, as well as the details (it's hard to make smaller things so detailed--love the deer back there as well).

I thought that was the dear thing from One Piece--I used to watch some of it, when it was dubbed by the evilness of 4kids, but, I stopped after awhile.
