I'm shocked that I managed to get this done this evening. We're rushing around here at the moment trying to clean up the flat since we have a flat inspection tommorow - chaos. X3
Still - a little added colour this time around. I like the red and blue against the grey scale. Thankfully, this is the LAST page of those ugly shirt+pant clone outfits the boys have...new clothing on the next page! :3

Hmm. Are you using any french greys by chance? The warms look reeeeally warm, almost brownish so I was curious. Interestin results with the blue and red on greys. Nice job, Kai! <3

oohh yes! i likey way mucho! i love the idea of just bcolouring the two main characters, it's just about them, although Keira appears in this comic she isn't coloured, so she doesn't get to continue. it is very bold. i really love your little chibi characterisations in comparison to other more worked in panels on this page. it gives it a nice sense of balance. do you panel plan by the way? or do you just improvise? it's effectiove whatever it is you do anyway.
hope the inspection goes well, if it's anything like my mum coming into my room and just running her finger across surfaces to pick up dust and show it to me you'll be fine hehe

XD I usually plan out ahead with thumbnail sketches before I do the actual page, but there's no roughs for the full-sized pages, since this is just a fun thing for me and not a MAJOR big thing - like SF or other stuff. :3

that's howi do it actually, the thumbnails are a loose representation of where everone's gonna be and the composition of the page. it's so nice to see an artist enjoy what they're working on, it gives the peice a nicer feel.

oooooo selective splashes of color, me likes! :0 I like how you've alternated using warm and cooler tones, like in Keira's hair versus the graphic bg of the second panel xD I LOVE that! the bubbly dots make it so much fun! the warm and cool tones work very well in Jak and Daxter's hair, too; it even displays their personalities well :3
lol Dax you're being such a jerk right now xD it's like a classic 'NO GIRLS ALLOWED' boys club. he's so resolute in his stomping away!
