no appriecation for art that boy. i really like it actually, how much is it going for? i'll take it! i love the composion in this, the two guys look o small up against that thing in turn making the painting look huge, it's all very nicely paneled out. you can even tell from the back that jak is admiring the work.
this is great hun, dax is just so very in character here it makes me smile!

And I have a question: For the contest, I still don't understand (forgive me, i'm slow!). When you said something about the "self-insert", will that be like.... one of our characters are put into the comic for a page? Or like... the charrie popping up once and so on like a mascot?

Noooo...it's a special kind of name self-insert, but it won't be your characters or anything like that (sorry...I'm just not keen on OC/self inserts in my comic.

talk about crazy-gewd toning with just markers! D: i mean, it's always been drop-dead awesome, but here, we all get a taste as to just HOW blendy your marker doings can be. and with... like... MILLIONS of greys! wtf! DX stop with the sexy marker work!
srsly tho! it stood out in the inbox like crazy, and at first glance i thought it was either a touch of watercolor, or some kind of black india ink or summat. C: in any case, daxter's totally in the wrong for the insult. XP cuz it's gorgeous! and.. ominous! :0 do i sense foreshadowing? *fingerwiggle* dundunduuuun.
ah, yea... and lately, i've been lovin' the funky shapes of your speech bubbles. XP;; i'm sucha whore... they've been a mega influence on me.

I'm really glad to hear the story's moving at a good pace. Half the time, my biggest fear is that it's either moving too fast or too slow for people's tastes. But dun worry about comments, luff! I'm just as bad when it comes to commenting on stuff. @__@ Guuuhhhhh.
The painting wasn't too bad...just took up more toning time than usual. The brush-nibs on Copic Sketch markers make painting-like strokes alot easier to do for obvious reasons...so it was just slapping enough down to get it looking somewhat paint like. :3 So glad you like it, luff!

It's okay. XD Most people thought he was pointing at the muse, but...that would not tie-in with the original game...since their first time seeing the muse was in 'precursor legacy'. X3 I'm trying to stay as loyal to the games as I can. :3

Jak, you're such a critic! Actually, it's really pretty. Must've taken a looong time to do just that painting, it's really cool. But hey, at least you didn't have to color it! The rest looks awsome, too! I like Jak's face when he's insulting it, and hypicriticalism is funny, too!
