This is actually in its colour stages now, but here's the sketch for those who don't watch my LJ. Done as a birthday gift for Wes, since hers is just a few days before mine. ^^10-year-old Jing and hatchling Kir...though he's only got his little feet out so far (one of my fave parts of that bonus story in the manga....he was just this big ol' egg with these teeny birdy feet sticking out and following Jing around like a puppy! Dawwww!
Must get this finished soon for Wes. I always love drawing these two - they're such a kick-butt duo (yeah...I do rate them higher than Jak and Daxter, sorry...but they are better in my eyes. X3).

King of bandit: Jing (although Tokyo Pop translates it as 'Jing: King of Bandits') there's two versions. The original, and the second series - Twilight Tales (Jing's much older in the second series, the art style is REALLY awesome in it, and the themes are alot darker).

Yeah, Sheldon ran around inside a shell. Never did come out, even when his egg cracked there was another shell underneath. I actually only just discovered the Jing anime. I'm loving it but I don't know how it ends yet so no spoiler anyone! I'll be keeping an eye out for the manga so I'll have to take your word on Kir in the egg, I actually don't know.
