Some spoilers for 'Ratchet and Clank: A Crack in Time' below, so read at your own risk (you have been warned!)This was the other image I did during the start of the Crack in time Replay with Abby and Gemma. Granted we easily 'dawww' over a lot of moments in the trilogy (most of all the final game) but we always get little heart pitter-patters when Alister and Ratchet finally meet, and he makes a comment along the lines of: 'From now on, you'll have a family'.
Yeah, we love hearing that over and over again.
Considering there's not much chance that it could have ever happened, we still found it rather cute to think about what would have happened if Alister HAD come across Ratchet after Kaden's death and raised him (there's no doubt he would have watched over his best friend's boy in a heart-beat, after all). Kinda...lead to this.
Yeah, it's so silly but I just couldn't resist.
BG thrown in there for simple 'I guess I should have one' and is a mish-mash of some concept art - it really has no reason behind it.
And yes, I forgot the stripes on Ratchet's arms.

It's not silly, it actually make sense. But it would change the whole story, if by much that is. He'd probably bug Ratchet, as a (step)father would, about not going out with any of the ladies he's met, lolz! Hell, if you're ambitious enough, you could make a fan fic about it.

I find this piece touching, actually! I never actually played this game, but my brother did. I remember those summer afternoons where I would grab out Jak and Daxter, or Ratchet and Clank... Those were some good times... They just don't seem to make those kind of games anymore, do they? All the new games either about the killing, or the graphics. Oh well, at least we still have the oldies, right?
