I colored the original sketch it in Photoshop. Not sure if it's an improvement really. Opinions would be appreciated.He still wants to hug you though.

There's quite a bit about them in the Bible, no? In Ezekiel(?) and Revelation, but possibly very mangled in translation...

I vaguely recall something about daemon locusts in the book of Revelations. There was a dude named Abbadon, lord or chief or keeper of the demon locusts. Nasty things with the faces of men and stingers of some sort, if I remember it correctly. You have intrigued me. I'm going to have to go look it up now...

This is another one that has a conceptual reference to it. An uncompleteled daemon prince thing, the image here is muuch more developed than the actual (uncompleteled, probably never completed) conversion.
