Arright, anough of bad new-eldar sketches. Here's one finished. Same principles as with previous one apply. As in - I choose to ignore any complaints it doesn't fit 40k/eldar style. They've moved on a bit too much for me to care about this

hmm, almost looks more insect than eldar. i can fully picture this jumping around like a harlequin
also, the back pipe things make me think this is a Scottish eldar with a built in set of bagpipes... now that would be interesting.

I think that you could focus more on non-fanart related material that intakes various Eldar elements like this and just make something up rather than feel required to do something with 40k-esque to it.

Agreed. This is way better than just plain "elves in space". It would be nice to see them in "civilian" clothes as well - add a dimension beyond just "enemy on the battlefield".

Always love to see these Eldar re-designs. They appear more alien and ghostly then your average herpa-derp Space Elves. I can only love this version.

Thank you very much. Space Elves are kind of uninspired, so i do my best to change it. Even though some 40k artgroups stopped taking my work due to not looking like 40k anymore

Well I believe originality is a virtue. I have a similar idea for an alien race that use nano-bionic technology and has a techno-organic feel to their weaponry, so I can really get to like your version of the Eldar (the funny thing is, your usual dinky Eldar are my LEAST favorite race in 40k)
