When I was in 1st grade, I did a book report on a book about Finches. I've had an odd fondness for them ever since.

This was shot inside a giant bird cage at MASS MOcA... The piece was "Library for the Birds of Massachusetts" by Mark Dion

=kilgore-trout also posted a shot from inside: [link] As he is the king of shooting in low-light, I think his came out better. Take a look.

(EDIT: This is a live bird. Apparently =JackSilver thought it was stuffed, so I thought I'd add that. It was a giant cage with a tree inside covered with odd and ends - and a bunch of live finches flying around. There were warning signs about not letting them poop on you.)
