This is a beautiful photo! ^.^ I love how you captured the bird AND the books... Like, attention is drawn to the bird and then rests on the books.

Is the bird your's? I know this is a stupid question... But I'm imagining a very exotic bird flying into your window, landing on the books, and your first thought is to take a picture. But HEY... it could happen!

Adorible concept, and I think you caught the perfect instant in this shot. Animals are so hard to work with, you did a great job ^_^

Not much a tree-hugging bookfreak can say here... or is that a book-hugging tree freak? Anyway, right down my alley and the most beautiful soft light, Mr.

Oh sweet! Nice, the bird is in a great position as if it's reading the titles, beautiful.

I took a shot resembling this, except there was a pocket watch on top of the books.

Is that bird actually alive?

With the title, it's almost like the bird is studying, finding out how to live with humans!

thank you .....at first i wasnt too sure if i was happy with the composition
idealy a wanted to have it shot horizontally instead of vertically

but in order to get the titles of the books (which was the ideal behind the shot itself) i had to zoom out farther and thus loose the close up of the bird
...i may submit another one of these out takes in a horizontal position in my scraps later on

but anyway z...thanx alot for the nice comment
glad ya enjoyed it

What I really love about this photo is that your books are turly well loved books, I'm so glad they seem like they are been read and read.

The cute little birdy is secondary to me.

truly the books are the emphasis here !!!
initially i wanted to have the composition horizontally ...but in order to get the titles and bird in shot......it all appeared to small
so i oped for this ...and well ..the bird posed for me perfectly ..then shortly after this...flew off to another destination

so i lucked out !

Great shot! How did you get the bird to stay there long enough? I love your use of lighting, the shadows look amazing. There are some good books in there, too. But yeah, the black background is nice. Everything in the photo is so bold and well defined. Awesome awesome job. You should be very proud of the way it came out.

Great job.
