Wow, that's amazingly beautiful.
I wish it snowed here.
Stupid, humid, hot, southern Louisiana....

Wow, I want this to be bigger SO BAD! I love this. Is that a lone apple? Or a tenacious leaf? I'm going with apple. It's lovely, like a jewel in a crown of winter, with lovely lines of snow and such a nice deep brown of the branches.
But bigger, yes, bigger.

I like this shot ....a nice eye to see it
but in my opinion ..if ya dont mind a little constructive criticism would be that the composition is slightly off a bit
thats my opinion on it
but the way the the 3 main branches are flowing ....this would have been best suited to have the apple a little more to the right
that way the branches lead your eye into the image ...to lastly focus on the apple
or vice versa ....a nice extending flow from the apple
as it stands now .....it leaves me eye a little unfullfilled (if ya know understand what i mean )
*** also i want to clarify what i meant by havin the apple a little more to the right --> as i dont mean to have shifted the lens to arrange the composition
i would have took a step or two left ..and not have moved the lens ..as i really like the DOF/ tones located in the top right hand corner ...and i wouldnt have wanted to lose that aspect of the image
but dont get this criticism wrong ......its technically a perfectly well captured shot
and a pleasant sight to see with the natural dualtone effect
the snow.....i have to admit im not fond of seeing ...
but thats only cause i like my snow on the mountains..where they belong
but for the picture ..the snow works wonderfully
good job

I take that back, its not selective coloring. Have you thought about converting this to a straight B&W?

Eh. I liked that there was one apple left... I didn't mess with the colors.

I'm not a big fan of the selective coloring schtick unless you're trying to make some sort of statement...but I guess I'm in the minority specifically about this one. Get rid of that & I'd elevate this from a B to an A-. Sorry.
