a godzilla design contest in discord

my entry might be stretching the definition of godzilla a bit, it starts as a viral organism but later acquires and incorporates godzilla's DNA, so technically it is a tumor 'godzilla' i want to keep this theme of 'organic sinewy tumor' out of a petri dish on all phases of the tumor-zilla, basically its second phase manages to bite a chunk out of classic godzilla and rearranges itself in their image, just a super distorted fleshy one. i imagine in a movie, classic godzilla will eventually figure out to aim at the actual head of tumorzilla to actually kill it, but at first they would be thrown off by the 'fake godzilla head' perhaps tumorzilla first started off as a government attempt to come up with a pathogen that can infect and kill kaijus, as trying to kill them with brute force has failed many times before.

but it goes awry, soon incidents crop up nationwide following the second phase of tumor-zilla as its small size allows it to hide around the tunnels and sewers of the cities. yellow toxic gasses starts enveloping metro stations, sending crowds of commuters barelling out of the tunnels, many will later die of the sickness, thick yellow tar coming out of all orifices.

in the end following its defeat, mankind once more is left to ponder their mistake of thinking they can control and manipulate even the most microscopic of nature's forces.

Godzilla has that theme of mankind's hubris and misuse of technology, i figured i'd put a spin on it and have a theme of viruses and genetic engineering superbugs, ironically the gigantic kaiju monster came from the tiniest of organisms

anyone who's been keeping up with what i post, i probably won't be doing the modern day dinos project for a while, the next upcoming weeks i'd be posting some stuff from a freelance project i was recently doing involving many alien creature and ecosystems
