This is a very interesting design. I like how it looks less like a stereotypical giant bug and more like an actual megafaunal arthropod. I hope you do more of these.

thanks man, that's definitely the angle i'm trying to approach these, what if after an extinction event arthropods and invertebrates got their chance to fill in the ecological niches of the mega faunas or just niches previously dominated by other animals

Humans still seem to exist, so I'm not sure of the timeframe plausibility, but it's a fantastic science fantasy setting.
