well, dragon Reni seems to really favor brute force seeing how she introduced that fake wolf Templar to the ground, so i thought an Italian mace would look nice because it's a weapon of brute force but still has that elegant look with the curves

That makes sense. It also look a bit like a Royal Scepter, which could be loosely tied in with her Title. What would be the kind of weapon would be Nora's if you drew her again.

it was a lot of fun doing the early concept for it last year, i just had to go back and redraw it again now with what i've learned in the year

My initial idea was for her to have a staff, but it kinda felt generic,
So later I got the idea to have her use an Italian mace instead : p
