two shell farmers embark on their treacherous way back to the walled city, both had ventured further into the barren beaches farther than usual. Night time is especially dangerous with the roaring tides moving in and the gigapengus getting more active. On their way they passed through a family of gigapengus, normally this would be more than enough reason to start hiding, however this time the pengus were feasting on a large sand shell. Rock-like mollusks that often gets beached onto the plains and continue to grow and carpet the beaches.

The gigantic boulder-sized ones are really tough to crack, even for the large beaks of the gigapengus, however occasionally, some of these living boulders would fill up with gaseous pressures building up from the bacteria hitchhikers inside them, and with the right condition, they'd crack open, providing a rare feast for any pengus around. This time the farmers are lucky, and they just might make it back safely
