Does the pattern leave space for the seems or is that something that will have to be added to the outside of the cut lines?

For me I add the seam allowing which is 3mm. But if you need more then you can size the pattern up a little.

You line up the H and K to the a the tail and start from H and sew around the tail tip to K.
Then you do it to the other side of the tail.

The only thing I can't figure out is how the under body is supposed to attach. Any tips?

That makes more sense but, What about the other side? It looks like1/2 or 1 out of two

The body is based off of the same pattern that is used in this tutorial. I hope this helps.

Oh my gosh, this would be awesome! I love Espeon
I think I might try making this later
How much fabric do you think this would use?

It depends on the size you print, but about a 1/2 yard.

I used paint to open and print it.
Make sure you print at 100%

with the belly piece how do u do the part where there are the hole like things by the legs that aren't actually holesΒ

It's basically folding the fabric and sewing it.
This pattern is based off this one below, though it is a hole, so you can make it a hole if you like. ^W^

How did you start forming the pattern?
You use real animal reference or did you use Espeon pictures? I'm trying to figure out how people make these patterns, as I want to make my own life-size versions of the Eevee family.

I use the pictures of Espeon and my logic of 3d items. My brain transfers thinks in 3d to 2d output.

This is really awesome!!
Question though, would tihs pattern also work for umbreon? If not no worries it's just i'd like to do both hehe :3
(I'm gonna do the eye detail differently so finding an iron on for umbreons eyes wouldn't be an issue hehe :3) XxX

There is not much differences in Espeon and Umbreon, so I don't see why not. ^W^
And that is cool, iron-ons are not for everyone.
