Wow. Man, I hate doing shading and things like that in comics. It just pushes my patience over the limit. You'll probably recognize that I worked really fast on this one by the ending.

Anyway, this is a scene in one of the chipmunks' many adventures in my series as adults. Simon's extremely ill, and Acorn (one of Spike's kids) told them that the only one who could help him was Merlin. Every planet with life had their own Merlin the Enchanter, just like King Arthur's. Marya has one as well, and this one is gifted with immortality, so he's been around for a long time. He's got the cure for Simon, so it's up to Alvin and Theodore (and Mia) to get him to the enchanted forest where the old hermit lives.

Alvin, of course, thinks that Merlin, being such a powerful wizard, would be living in a huge mansion filled with amazing things.... Boy is he proven wrong!

And theodore's being the simple-minded one again. I just thought of this moment and I had to draw it out for you guys.... and I think Mia came out extremely cute.

Alvin never knew that Merlin was a badger... he just spoke up his thoughts and it turned out to be right.

Oh yeah, and Merlin's colors may be inside out. Oh well.
