This is the model sheet I did for Tippy. It's for my thesis film for next year called Routine.He's going to look much more simplified in the film, so i'll be posting my progress here and on my production blog, ashleymmproductions.tumblr.com .
Yes, I do have original ideas and characters. I just shy away at posting too many online without getting them copyrighted first.

I didn't know what numbats were, so I wiki'd it right away and I gasped because of the adorableness of the initial picture.
Of course your Tippy is cute and fun looking. 
About holding back posting original characters until they're copyrighted, I know how that feels.
