The "same person" in another universe is not the same person as you.
Even if it's a perfect parallel universe, they're still differentiated by the fact that they're from a different universe entirely, therefore they are a different person.
So basically, you in another universe is not you.

Code Sans: Yes I know this. These things are very complicated. Just like how all other sanses have their own differences in other universes for example. We may all be sans, be we aren't the same. We are far more different than the original and we all have different qualities.

In another universe, Gaster is a completely different entity than the Gaster from the first.
If they were the same person, there would only be one. Saying that there can be more than one of the same exact person is logically impossible, since that other person would technically be a copy of the first person.

Lets say we have 2 different rocks. They have the exact same composition, shape, weight, and look. For all intents and purposes, they are completely identical.
Now lets say that one rock comes from the US and the other comes from Sweden.
Can you logically say that the 2 rocks are exactly the same in every way, even if they come from completely different places?
They might be the same type and kind of rock, but they are not the same exact rock.

I know that but their still based from same person from the Original so the may be not exactly, but still came from 1 thing. Original Character. Well ok say UnderFell and Undertale, Flowey is evil in Undertale and Nice in Underfell. Flowey may be different, but Underfell still spins off from the original, Undertale, where everyone is reversed evil and good, but Flowey is still Flowey.

One Flowey is canon Flowey, the other is a completely different AU Flowey.
Not the same Flowey since he is different in many ways. He might still have the name "Flowey", but that doesn't make them the same exact person.
