Well, that is his ability after all.But anyway, this is my Eclipse side story; It's most likely going to be very short because I don't know much about the touhou universe that y'all created.

Kidowa's ability is to invoke fear into beings; Basically, It allows Kidowa to invoke the state of fear into all that exist. The only way to void his ability is to not exist; Therefore, there nothing a being can do to stop it.

Kidowa main ability isn't manipulation of fear, I answered your question too quickly without thinking; It's actually invoking fear into beings. Basically, It allows Kidowa to invoke the state of fear into all that exist; So, even having control over the emotional state still wouldn't stop it. Though, Kidowa barely uses this ability. Unless Razzy has incredible fighing skills, couldn't be put to sleep, and is irresponsibly powerful, she could beat Kidowa easily then.

Well. When Kidowa invokes fear into beings, They're put in a state of complete paralyzation; Even though he would get that power increase, Aero couldn't move. Since Kidowa consumes fear, He'll just eat all the invoked fear, making Aero fearless temporarly; Then, he'd convert the consumed fear into nightmarish darkness, Which would makes him more powerful. And If Aero tries use another emotional state, Kidowa would scare him again, putting him back into the fear state; Then, He'll consume the fear again. And, The cycle will continue; but, that would only happen in a serious fight.
Note: Kidowa is a unfair and broken character; This is why I said He can't participate in the tournament.

lol though aero won't be affect by fear. i made him to be the opposite of me which means that emotions like fear won't affect him. he is one that simply becomes more powerful and can also take other's abilites as well if he needs to.

But, anyway. No, you're not right at all; You can still call him that and still have fear stop him. ( It's just a name )
Kidowa's "little" fear ability is the highest form of it. Allowing one to invoke the state of fear into all that exist, you can't get any higher that. And, Kidowa dosen't manipulate fear, He controls it. EXAMPLE: Kidowa's fear is like a endless water faucet and a being, like Aero, is like a glass. By invoking it, Kidowa can pour as much fear, in the glass, that he wants; By eating it, He can drink as much fear as he wants. Kidowa can do this without a downside; And, The only true way to vold this ability is to not be a being. Therefore, not existing. Also, Kidowa's ability is similar to Yuyuko's, do to the fact that they both invoke something. Since Yuyuko invokes death in mortals, It allows her to invoke the state of death to all that are subject to it. You can't be a mortal and say to Yuyuko "You can't kill me."; That would get the mortal killed. The same thing goes with Kidowa's ability, but with fear instead of death and beings instead of mortals.
How does Aero even know if Kidowa is weaker than him? They have never met. Saying something like that is very arrogant. For all we know, Aero's power could be less than or equal to Kidowa's or Kidowa could be the more powerful one. We wouldn't know.
