Pokédex entry:A vicious psychic Pokémon created by genetic engineering. Its cold glowing eyes strike fear into the hearts of its enemies.
The most powerful Pokémon in the world. Period.
The first Pokemon movie is the one we all remember, and my personal favorite. Among all legendary Pokemon, Mewtwo has by far the most compelling character. In order to do Mewtwo justice, I spent a good amount of time on this one, and made sure that I stuck closely to the source material. I added glowing veins on him so it would be coherent with the Mew drawing that I did.

I have the same opinion on Pokemon the first movie, Mewtwo is one of my all time favorite characters in all of fiction, even being the biggest inspiration of my own character.

Wow, this is a very interesting depiction of Mewtwo, what with the glowing patterns! I definitely like the glowing effects, and the devastated background.

Mewtwo will always be a legend to me, and one of my absolute favorite pokemon! This is an EPIC piece, it really shows the awesome power he holds within himself, and the wrath he carries with him!

This is EPIC. I really like the designs and the sillouhette-thing you've got going. He looks completely intimidating! The First Movie is also my favorite, and Mewtwo is not only my favorite Pokemon, but also my favorite character from Pokemon. It's nice to see such an excellent fanart.

Wow, this is amazing! There's a definate synergy between this and the earlier Mew drawing you did, because I was instantly reminded of it after seeing this one. I think it highlights the connection between the two of them really quite well what with them being styled similarly, with the symmetry and effects. And the detailing's really impressive too

I have to agree that he had the most compelling character for a legendary...especially as he was one of the few that can talk intelligently. Awesome artwork of him by the way; I really get an eerie feel from this pic thanks to your detailed background. (Extra thanks for not doing a plain, empty "background" like most do also!)

...Tons of detail, whether drawing it into a background or researching the street layout of Tokyo for a Godzilla story (no joke), can walk a thin line between fun and boring. But it's always worth it in the end!

There was a Japanese short about how Mewtwo was born. Very interesting that he grew up with a very sick human friend who was fated to die.
