In a crazy stroke of luck, I managed to get a custom Tokota. My two absolute favourite genos are dun and bearmarks so I'm beyond thrilled to get both in one Toko

I've been stuck on a name for him. I know that Tala will call him Bear or Big Bear, but I'm not sure on a official name. He's been stuck in my head all weekend, and I ended up drawing most of this Saturday. I'm still trying to piece together a good history, but for the most part Tala just found him in the wild. It's quite a mystery because he appears to be entirely trained, non-feral, and probably the most mellow Tokota that Tala has ever encountered. I was going to add a scene after this where he's just laying on his back demanding belly rubs, because that's his big goof response to strangers (he's a lover not a fighter guyz). She knows he can't be wild, but has no idea whether he was let free, ran away, or if something might have happened to his rider. The only thing they know is that he loves water, and there's a shred of collar left over with his name. Nonetheless, she and Noka adopt him into their crazy family, and they become a terrible trio

I'm also super excited, because he's an exact lineage match to one of the imports I got, so I'll have a sibling group. I'm not quite sure how I want to fit that in, but combine that with his mystery disappearance/appearance it'll make for great story plotting later on
