Story:
Fog seemed to envelop the entire valley with even the mountains in the background washing out to a blinding white. Treetops of pines seemed to hint shape, and the reflective glassy surface gave away an almost hidden creek. It was certainly not an easy day for The Queen of Heart’s final rite, however the red dire felt worthy of the challenge as she glided gracefully through the fog in search of her future captive.

The Queen of hearts had had a few glimpses of her targets, although she was clever enough to realize sight was not going to guide her through this task. Nonetheless a flicker of golden fur in the distance hinted a direction as she slowed to a pause. The dire could hear the faint sound of running, the hint of familiar scent – that had to be who she was looking for.

The dire wondered if her target could see the distant creek she tried to cross earlier. The ice was far too thin to risk crossing, and she knew that a much smaller Tokota would have to be a fool to try. It could act as a natural barrier and allow the red dire to get close enough to catch her if she played it just right. With a grin she began forward.
