Location: ThailandNephita maculata. An interesting fact: This fairly large spider is known to have the largest and strongest web of any spider.

The web really stood out with thick yellow strands... but it didn't show in this shot. In other shots the web looks great but the spider wasn't quite sharp enough....

Oh, yeah I could see how that would be difficult. For some reason if it's even a millimeter apart in distance, you can only get the one thing to show up clearly. Still not sure why cameras work that way to be honest

You can change some of the setting to get more in focus (increase the depth) but to be honest I find the basic auto settings easiest... well, with the camera i have now anyway.

Oh yeah, that makes sense. Sometimes cameras are just so complicated it's just better to get them set where you can get one thing clear and then leave the settings alone.

Thanks. The web was nice as well, really yellow, but didn't show up in this shot.
