it's a nice way but too much erasing. what about setting the stablilazer higher (S modi) and do the streakes directly!^^
if it doesn't work, press undo! xD
me, i make the basic color first, then i add some shadings and then i do the streakes.
using single layers for each and using the clipping layers! xD

thank you for the tip, but before that. Umm, what's stabilazer ? Sorry i didn't know a lot of things in sai, well.. since i'm an amateur.. ;u; i used mouse in this, maybe that's why i needed muuuuuuuuuuuuuuuch eraser.. XD

the higher the number, the slower the lines are but the pressure sensibility is higher so the ends of the lines can become very thin!^^
and the lines get more smooth and straight.
i found it out while i tried to draw grass! xD
and now i'm using it for lineart to make cleaner lines and for hair streaks!^^
