This is awesome... everything is right.. from the slowish shutter speed, capturing the movement of the water all the way to the kids big ass ears.. wonderful portrait!

great shot. that's some amazing timing to get an expression like this one. the blurred motion of the water, in contrast with the (pun completely intended) frozen expression is priceless. well done.

Ohh so cold but it must of been refreshing. Every muscle seems to be tense in that little one.

another great moment captured forever The simple enjoyment of running water, even if it's a bit cold

Because the water is blurred they looked a bit like ice shards (). But seriously, this is a great one, but here in Ontario our weather is tempermental, it's cold, hot, rainy, cold ,hot, rainy, etc, so we dont know when to cool off anymore. Awesome, the expresssion caught in this is priceless.

I've been to Vancouver island actually. Very nice forests. I was visiting relatives. They live near Douncan (or however it's spelled).

My mom who just got back tuesday has some excellent shots fo when she was on a boat in the northern area of Vancouver island.

I also have an aunt in B.C. but I've never visited her and I dont think my mom has either. Although her place looks great.
