Deep down into Cuphead trash I go...

Taffy: a Beppi the Clown x Baroness Von Bon Bon kid. This is the FIRST time ever a fankid made me like a ship. I mean, in my early days in this fandom I never really considered shipping in general, but this settled it (and besides, I found some amazing fucking ship stuff between Beppi and Bonnie which sold me to it later on) and the other major reason for liking this ship is Taffy's existence. Cannot think of another situation where I love a ship because of its fankid.
I love her design so much, she feels like a stand-alone Cuphead character, like an NPC, yet you can still tell that she's Beppi and Bon Bon's offspring. Some other fankids I saw just look like fusions of two characters, and I mean OBVIOUS fusions, Taffy instead feels so organic. And there is no need of blue color or a nose like Beppi's, she is perfect the way she is. Also I imagine her being voiced by Cree Summer LOL

Now as for Hilda Berg x Cagney Carnation, this must've been the first Cuphead ship I enjoyed, mainly because the artworks and comics between the two characters are hysterical as they're cute, the art by Waackery and N eko-mirichan especially sold me to this ship. They look good together (long-nosed love FTW) and their interactions in those artworks are brilliant to me.
Then by the same person who created Taffy, I saw this fankid Curtis Carnation ("Curtis" deriving from the Curtiss Hawks aircrafts) and I was inspired to make my own Carnaberg fanchild: Clotilda, his little sister.
Hilda gave birth to Curtis, Clotilda was blossomed Thumbelina-style by Cagney. Apparently despite being humanoid Curtis has some plant-powers... Heh I guess maybe in return Clotilda is a little more skilled in some areas of engineering and astronomy than he is. Anything to be opposites and have a cat/dog relationship lol

January has been a bumpy ride for me as a way to start the year in my private life, but discovering these fankids and ships has greatly helped me as a distraction from the worries, this is my way of celebrating these. I dunno if I'll draw fluff between the parents (mostly because Hilda and Cagney are greatly covered, and even some Beppi x Bon Bon pieces, even though it's not as popular as Carnaberg, are brilliant and I dunno how to top, god am I glad this fandom is filled with crazy creative people) but for the time being this is it.
