So, remember that idea about the live action/animation movie I'd make, giving a comic horror spin to that concept?

Finally I'm doing something more about it.

I'm still figuring out some stuff of how the toon-looking cosmic gods work, but I have decided to have one that homages Trevor Henderson's Cartoon Cat.
...Well, more like my friend Kate 's take on Cartoon Cat.
She headcanons that Cartoon Cat is secretly Julius , a Felix the Cat look alike from early Disney animations that was ACTUALLY forgotten and never used again unlike Oswald, and she imagines that Julius sat there abandoned and forgotten ala Spinel until he snapped and became a demonic toon thing.

So here I created an OC that references that, and my take on Cartoon Cat is called Mazarus and he's basically a hybrid of Felix the Cat and Mickey Mouse when he takes a more "friendly" appearance lol And yes, Buttwitch also served as an influence, I thought making it multi-limbed and alien-like would've helped, I see him crawling around fast like some spider-snake thing instead of standing up like Cartoon Cat does. A little bit of Aku from Samurai Jack too.

This whole thing about the murderous creepy cult and the police busting their ritual is a homage to "The Tale of Inspector Legrasse" part from Lovecraft's The Call of Cthulhu, it's sort of a modernization of that part, and I'll continue Mazarus' counter attack some other time, this isn't all, and it will be explained by Mazarus and the other toon entities do what they do, one thing at a time.
This was just establishing the existence of this guy.

UPDATE: I have changed the way Maz's teeth look like.
Even his monstrous form he has a smile that is just simple lines of teeth with no "separation" between upper teeth and the teeth of the jaw, but in reality his teeth are just long, pointy sword-like fangs that mesh with one and other when his smile is 'shut'.

It's original and plus that way he looks less like Cartoon Cat. It's fine to be inspired by something, but whenever you can come up with something that makes your thing different, embrace it.
