Welll, I DID say I wanted to draw SOMETHING for shark week...SOOOOO I decided I'd get my butt in gear and color one of those sketches leftover from last year's shark week celebration!

These are some of my fave sharks here, but also some of the weirdest! All of 'em are supposedly grouped in the Lamniforme order (at least last time I heard they were) but that doesn't always mean they are related.
These were sooo much fun to color! I hope I can draw more sharkees in the future!
Because I lovez them. OMG SOMETHING THAT ISN'T FANART!!!! I CAN DO IT AFTER ALL!!!!

Did you do a picture on Requiem Sharks? I LOVE the Blue Shark and the Oceanic Whitetip, both of which are the most BEAUTIFUL sharks I've ever seen, they're so smooth and majestic they look like someone crafted them with excellent craftsmanship. Or what about Hammerheads? I LOVE the Great Hammerhead, it's a BEAST! But, have you heard of the new book series Shark Wars, by E.J. Altbacker? I think I intended to do one with just Requiem Sharks, but never got around to it. This picture is a few years old so... yeah. XD I DID make something with Hammerheads, but it was just their head shape [link] . Otherwise, I haven't done a "group" picture since these. (I've drawn a lot more and probably better sharks since this so feel free to check out if you want)
Oceanic White-Tip is one of my absolute favorite species ever because of the reasons you've mentioned. They're freaking gorgeous, and the accented black-and-white of the pilot fish that usually accompany them makes for almost living art. XD
I've never heard of those books, sounds interesting though.
