Description
Nightmares powers in depth:
- Sonic Speed: can move so fast the naked eye has trouble spotting him.

- Herculean Srength: could quite literally punch a tractor & trailer rig & it would be thrown into the air & land on it's side. There is also a great strength in his bone structure, his bones are near unfracturable, though dislocation is painfully possable.

-Another's fear &/or Hatred for him &/or others Augment his powers further

-Soul Siphon: This is Nightmare's most deadly abillity, it is the transfer/leeching of an opponent's soul, energy, health, memories, & abillities (eg. If the entire soul of a lightning charmer was consumed, he too could control lightning, though it's only 3 quarters the strength of the original's.), This technique also partially heals his wounds, replenishes physical endurance, & the soul of the opponent can even be ripped out the opponent's body through the this leeching techinque as a trophy & the soul also augments his other powers further. Soul Syphon can only be preformed through direct contact with the opponent

-also just to note for unexplained reasons, Nightmare also is seemingly not affected by gunfire very much

Nightmare is one of many villains in my comic,
"Destiny Quest". He also happens to be one of two spawns conjered by by the Thanatos (the scythe of death) which main character uses through out the story.
Nightmare is the spawn of Hatred. His brother,Gloom is the spawn of sorrow.Nightmare conceals his true form (The Beast Of Hatred) in this human figure, Nightmare's true form is much more brutal & relentless [link]

- backstory: Nightmare is the spawn of hatred. The main character in my comic was stabbed through the the chest trying to avenge to deaths of his parents that were slautered not 5min before, blacked out & awoke in a dark place to find the Grim Reaper standing beside him. Death was trying to take him & he refused to go, so he challenged death to battle. A scythe appeared in the air in front of him & the instant he took hold of it, the Grim Reaper attacked. He managed to best the reaper & the reaper gave him the Thantos (the scythe of death) to use as he will. He then awoke, called his killers name & as he turned to face him he run him through with the Thanatos. Three years pass, he joins allies/friends to battle a great threat, but unbeknownst to him the Thanatos had been collecting all the hate & sorrow the Apocalypse brought on & concentrateing it in him. Thus Nightmare & Gloom were born. Nightmare, being the strongest of the two took control of his mind. Nightmare & Gloom were both cast out evenually, taking on forms of their own. Nightmare, being the spawn of hatred hated the world. He then found comfert in killing & creating fear.
