The Great Midgard serpent known as Jormungandr and one of the offspring of Loki(specifically the middle child).Jormungandr was cast to the sea from the orders of Odin proclaming that he was to big for Asgard and lived there until slain by Thor.Jormungandr was said ti circle the entire earth enough that he could swallow his own tail thusforth, creating the symbol Ouroboros.
