Okay, so I promised someone the next time I made a big prop I'd try to take in progress pics and post how I did it all.

This is it. Two props actually. They were to be for a Violinist of Hameln group costuming entry, but only the Sizer scythe got used (by me). The other person couldn't make it. You can view the entire scythe (and Sizer costume) in another deviation by me.

Still, nice over-sized violin, no? Well, the violin will be given a bit of a makeover and turned Steampunk for an original costume (to come later) I'll post pics of that when I get it done. And when the scythe gets redone, I'll post that too.

If I left things out that you want to know about, ask away and I shall answer as best I can. I'm thinking of taking commissions, but I don't know if people would be interested.

BTW, these aren't completely LARP-able, but they are close (aka, safe!).
