Description
Program used; rhinoceros 4 w/V-ray for RhinoThe Telescoping Caseless (TC) round is a proprietary round type designed by ArmaDyn. This design is based on older casless designs but with a twist that makes this version a viable candidate to be a worthy competitor against conventional cased rounds, even with the possibility of replacing them in the near future.
The round contains three charges, the primer charge that is set off by a high voltage shock ignites the booster charge, that propels the projectile out of the round body and then ignites the main propellant charge. This is all fully contained within a thin coating of a nano material. This coating contains special nanites that upon contact with extreme heat absorbs as much of it as possible and then disables the bond between each other and are expelled out of the barrel.
The overall design allows even large rifle rounds to be much lighter and more compact. The nano coating protects the propellant from moisture, excessive heat and shock while its heat absorbing properties allow for much less heat transfer to the gun parts nearly eliminating the problem of cooking off rounds. Another advantage is that nothing has to be ejected from the weapon after each shot and this allows for much higher rates of fire and no shells left in your wake.
Other round types are available such as buckshot slug and HE rounds

This is a really good idea. With it being square, you can fit more rounds into a magazine.

Actually, no. A round case allows you to double stack rounds, vastly increasing capacity.

Hmm, I think at the time I was thinking of just a single stacked magazine.

You can still double stack these rounds, it just takes a more complicated mag design.

Maybe, All I Know is that this round does exist in real life minus the scifi stuff so it does work.
