hmmmmm thats an awesome poster. rather large for a comic cover but still really awesome lol. i also love the smoke and fire effects, it gives the piece more depth. awesome job. so how big is that poster anyway?

it's 11x17... the same size as a sheet of comic book paper.

What objects behind the painting are small?
Are you talking about the buildings in the actual image?
The painting is 11"x17" which is the size of a tabloid paper. Comic pages and whatnot are drawn larger and then shrank down to the appropriate comic size for printing purposes. Does that help?

oh no no no i meant you have the thing standing right? behind it seems to be a picture frame or someting of some sort hanging on the wall. now whatever that was on the wall compared to the poster seemed smaller that the poster and thats why i asked how big it was.
hahaha dont worry kill nothing is wrong with your piece. now that you told me about that process i know why its so big. hmmmm so is it about the size of a Playbill and/or movie poster?

The board is lying down on my art table, and the white is a plain piece of white paper. 11x17 is if you took two pieces of normal 8.5x11 printer paper and put them longside to longside. That's how big it is.

yep. all comic pages are sized down from that 11x17. That's the standard.

looks really neat, central conflict and mass destruction all accounted for. So what are your plans for the title text? Maybe a arc over Durontus's head with crumbly style font or something.

Oh, for sure. My wife actually designed the text based on some of my ideas. go here: [link] and the text should be on the front page. It will be similar to that, probably more of a solid color.
