ItΒ΄s a self-portrait? Wow, itΒ΄s awesome. Really beautiful. I like this one, but i love the "before"image more. ItΒ΄s more natural. And in the original image your wonderful brown eyes look much more better.

It's difficult to find (photogenic) models when photography is a hobby... I think you don't have to be shy from taking pictures of yourself. Especially when it's so beautiful! You do really nice makeups!
It would be interesting to have the photo specifications. Shutter speed, iso speed, apperture..
thanks!

Thank you.
A while ago I started including the settings & lighting in the Artist's Comments, since then though I've changed the Artist's Comments part on every image.
Here is the before & after image so you can see what the original was like, the settings & lighting for the original photo are:
Shutter speed: 1/80.
F-stop: f/16.
ISO speed: ISO 200.
Lighting: A Canon 430EX II speedlite (it was so long ago I can't remember exactly but about half power) through a beauty dish which was quite close to me.

How do you achieve that nice lighting? And also.. What kind of manipulations do you use to enhance the make-up?

For this I used a beauty dish in front & just above me.
For enhancing the makeup in this photo using Photoshop:
1) Made the skin almost white/very pale. (I've made a tutorial for this, it'll be uploaded soon).
2) Enhanced the red lips by effectively colouring in the lips on a new layer then setting the layer to 'colour burn' or 'soft light' then reduce the opacity to how intense I'd like the red.
3) Used the burn tool to neaten up the eyeliner.
