Wow thank you very much for the comment. I just kept layering newspaper everyday and cutting into it for about a week to get the texture I wanted. 'ARTgasmicpiece' haha that's great

Thank you. I just layered a lot of newspaper together and used a palette knife to create a thick, rough texture.
