think about this you got the traders, farmers, gun makers and scangers there the one with the key to power and the riaders are showing the ncr is not made to handle this becasue of its new gun laws

I really haven't ever considered accepting payment for this or anything I do on DevArt, and I feel that I shouldn't. It's just a hobby I enjoy doing.. and it's Littlepip.

But once in a while, I would perform commissions for free... Or were they called Requests...?
I should do that one of these days.

A hobby you say? I don't mean to be the typical impatient butthead that bugs you for when the next page comes out (because I get that a work in progress story takes time) but is this the reasoning for the slow pace of new pages? Aside of course for you know...life and stuff.

I've been meaning to address this on a dedicated topic, but I can gloss over my thoughts right now.

I've been bothered with how long it has taken to produce a page. There are a lot of contributing factors to this, including the fact that I use MS Paint and I've noticed that I've been improving the quality of the art by spending more time refining each picture. However, I still get he feeling I could get a comic out in two weeks if I dedicated all my free time to it. But, of course, Legion had to actually be a halfway decent expansion with way too many things to keep me playing. I've still dedicated around 30% of my free time to the comic.

But now, I'm pretty sure I've reached the point in Legion where I can't improve any further without hardcore raiding, which I don't do. I expect this next comic to be out within three weeks if I am diligent.

I've been considering skipping the refinement stage when drawing, since it seems to double the time it takes to produce a picture. The quality of the work would be similar to that of the old ATGs and the first pages of the comic (which I still believe to be good), but the time it would take to make one would probably be cut in half. Considering how long I planned on this comic being... I don't want it taking 20 years to make if I spend between 1-2 months to make each one. But... a quality cut is a quality cut. The dedicated topic I mentioned before would probably be asking for a consensus of whether or not the modest fan base this comic has would want content produced faster at cost of the current quality.

Quality over Quantity, that's what I believe in. While yes, pumping out quality in a reasonable time is of course just as important. I don't do art (and die a little inside because I lack the talent) so I don't understand the different programs much or ATGs and stuff and jargon. The only thing I know is that some programs are more convenient that others for whatever reason like UI stuff I guess. Again, I know little on making artistic images. I did notice that the characters seemed a little more...detail I guess? I noticed the improvement in the comic, and found that before they looked like circles with hair, ears, and faces a bit too much. But that is something easily ignored, not a big . I don't know what legion is, so I don't really know how to comment on that. My guess it's a game? I really like your comic, and as much as it sucks it takes a while, I don't want to see quality decreased for the sake of getting it out faster. now if it is a very simple thing like what I mentioned earlier about the heads then sure I guess. but it's your comic so I guess you can do whatever. From what I can guess is the issue with the time it takes is just experience right? Practice makes perfect and I am well aware of what happens when you follow a comic in the works, it takes time. I'm willing to wait, I was just wondering if it was because you were dealing with life or something like that.
