Description
This is from an old comic story, Dell comic's Ghost Stories. I read it years ago in a reprint book, The Mammoth Book Of Horror Comics. Here's the story if anyone wants to read it: thehorrorsofitall.blogspot.com…Related content

Badass. I love it. Even though it was a grossly short story, I think that it could work for something that was akin to a tv show like Tales From the Darkside or Monsters. Hell, maybe even a part in a horror anthology movie.
It's a really strange idea for a monster though. I mean...I imagine that the body is just the "arm" and that it ends with a tail tip or nub. So weird though. Neat about the Morbious The Living Vampire like ability to absorb nutrients.
But pretty cool thing here. I like it. Should certainly do more obscured stuff like this Maybe even something like this horror comic a DA user showed me a year ago. It's about a cactus that comes to life because it is in love with a woman and brutal murders the men around her

I remember reading the cactus story in another book, Four Colour Fear. One of the craziest things I've read. There was also a sort of remake of it in the 70s, done by Eerie publications. since it was the 70s they just add a tone of gore. That one is in the Worst of Eerie Publications, for yoe books.
I thinking I'll try and do more of the weirder monsters from old horror comics since there are tons of these waiting to rediscovered. I'm definitely be doing the killer cactus.
