Description Janice Starlin, the owner of the largest cosmetics company, lived in fear of ageing.  Spending her vast fortune and the money of her company on near countless, crackpot methods to stop ageing. Until one day,  a scientist, Dr Eric Zinthrop working for her, developed a compound made from the royal jelly of a mutant queen wasp that worked.  Janice had found her fountain of youth, the compound had stopped her from ageing. Unfortunately, this was the same day that the company board of directors fired her from the company.  Janice was left with nothing and with this, her sanity sharted and her anger became uncontrollable, turning her into a horrifying half-human/half-wasp monster.  As such Janice Starlin hunts down the people she blames for ruining her life.

The Wasp Woman is a very entertaining movie, made by Roger Corman in the late 50s. I combined the original version with the 1995 remake, which I had no idea even existed.

The remake is not that bad actually. A little over the top with some of the sexualization of the character, (I mean she changes right on top of the guy in mid sex). I dare say it added more to the film than the Humanoids from the Deep remake did, which didn't expand on anything. At least the Wasp Woman did, even if it was that "cheap 90's softcore" like titillation that VHS rentals had going for them back then.

I'm not surprised that the remake is a softcore, Jim Wynorski's filmography jumps between this, creature features and kids movies. Humanoids from the Deep remake really did suck.
