This is Meltan, the newest mythical pokemon that first appeared in shitty pokemon go....
It's literally a nut with a nutsack for a body..... And this thing's supposed to be a mythical pokemon?!
All in all I don't like this thing, it looks lazy, it's kinda dull, and thankfully it's not the gen 8 poke. it's Alolan.... but still it's kinda dumb looking to me....

yea, it doesn't looks like it should be a mythical pokemon at all. it looks more like the kinda pokemon that should be low tier pokes that belong on the first few routes kinda pokemon. Something you'd beat up for exp and move on

yea, right now i'm not having high expectations for the majority of nintendo's stuff atm. pokemon's shaping up to be a major disappointment, smash ultimate could backfire, and we still got very little word on metroid prime 4....

I'm hopeful for Smash (really don't care about Metroid Prime), so... XD
As for PokΓ©mon, I really don't blame ya. It's clearly meant to draw in the PokΓ©mon Go audience, which from a business standpoint, makes a little bit of sense...but every time I see more of Let's Go, I get less and less invested, which has never happened to me regarding PokΓ©mon before.

yea, it's targetting the wrong audience really, the go market isn't the most idea ones to go for, no pun intended. most of them probably forgot the formula and don't know the new mechanics well, but when gen 8 comes in and these go players start to complain that it's too complex for them, pokemon will probably dumb down gen 8 even worse than gen 7 was and the whole franchise will suffer and may end up collapsing because they catered to the casual market rather than the dedicated fanbase....
or best case scenario: the let's go games completely flop and pokemon makes gen 8 for its real consumers

Nintendo did promise that Gen 8 would return to it's roots and put out a much more traditional PokΓ©mon game, but for now, this is what we've gotsez.
I'm still gonna give the games a fair chance. While we may not be the target audience for Lets Go, plenty of people will resonate with them, and if they do, more power to them. But I guess we'll haveΒ to kick back, save our cash, and just be patient for Gen 8. XD

The literal pile of sludge that becomes a bigger pile of sludge?
Or the Snake and Cobra but with backwards names?
Or the 6 Cocoon Pokemon?
Or the Rat that becomes a fatter Rat?
Or Diglett in general?
Or the Poke Ball with googly eyes and it's Evo which is just an upside down Poke Ball?
Or the walking Sunflower with a face?
Or the Monkey with a hand for a tale, and it's Evo which just adds another hand?
I'll stop here but the point is, this is far from the least creative thing GameFreak has made. But yeah, it does look kinda dumb.

The idea of a pokemon partly made of melted metal is kinda cool (that's what that is, not a nutsack, apparently), but the hex nut head is pretty lazy.

the nutsack thing is a joke honestly. but it's part of the reason i don't like the design of this pokemon. it's very lazily done, and if it was a gen 8 poke then i'd have very low hopes, even lower than i do for ultimate, for the next pokemon gen. And right now the pokemon franchise has very low expectations from me with how the let's go games are looking.
