To the right of Manic is Ebony the Cat, a character created by the discontiniued UK Sonic the Comic (Fleetway).
She's a talented user of chaos energy and acts like a magician/sorceress.

I admit I haven't read many Japanese Sonic comics but I'm not aware of any additional Japanese created freedom fighters. I think they would mainly stick to characters created for the games.
Would be quite interesting to find out if there are any more non Sega freedom fighter characters created by Japanese Sonic Comics.

Not too bad, took a while though. Quite a few work lunch breaks. Also found using references was quite helpful, especially for some of the more obscure characters.

Personally I'ld love to see either a new comic, cartoon series or computer game that pays homage to all the various fandoms snd brings it all together.:3
Sonic fandom is a bit like that mythical beast, the hydra. With each head representing an offshoot of Sonic fandom. Sega Japan, Sega of Europe, Sega of America, various cartoon series, etc.
