While many people consider this an iconic representation of an alien lifeform, personally, having for many years been accustomed with Barlowe's, C.M. Koseman's and other artists alien designs I can't help to find those extremely human looking aliens rather silly.Still,seeing them as the Goblins and Elves of modern folklore, my Mythical Creature folder couldn't do without them.

I honestly am not scared by the physical appearances of most thing, except for grays. like if I see them when not expecting them (such as when looking through art

They are totally the goblins and elves of modern folklore, down to the uncanny-valley bodies. I wonder why we as a people haven't just lumped them in with fairies, they're basically fey with a modern twist.

I prefer imagining the Greys the same way I imagined the Yeti when I was a child, elemental spirits of the beyond. Cryptozoology and alien conspiracies can be so boring in their attempts at making unlikely things more "realistic." The Yeti in particular was always a mystical entity in native folklore anyway.
