BTW: I love "Häxan", and we were actually going to have a sequence in the movie directly recreating some scenes (with a Lovecraftian twist). It was eventually scrapped, but I still might do it.

The scenes of the Devil tempting women and taking them to the orgies of the Sabbath. The Devil would be Nyarlathotep, the travel on broomsticks to the ritual would be the abyss, and the orgies/signing of the book would be on the witch-cult island with the standing stones.
