These small beaked piscivores are about the size of a buzzard. Despite their flight capabilities, they spend much time on the ground; they wander around tidepools catching fish or other aquatic animals as well as scavenging.Related content

One of your best designs, indeed! Looks like coming out from a old fashioned sci-fi pastiche, or from a documentary about future lifeforms or plausible alien beings from other planets. I like its pose, not profile nor completely frontal: Makes it more "natural" And the eye and head texture are fantastic. Good job.

Thanks! What I like best about it is how the skull is formed by lower jaw and it's the upper that forms a mobile mandible, like a lid on a box.
