I think Discord betrayed was due to him questioning if the mane 6 was his real friends or not. He could have betrayed them anytime after they lost the elements of harmony and they couldn't have done anything to stop them. Instead it wasn't till Tirek told him his pony friends were just using him and if he team up with him then he would be Discord real friend that Discord betrayed them. And it clear Discord didn't really need Tirek at all.

That's a good point. I never doubted that Fluttershy was his friend, but the others tended to treat him with a lot of hostility and negativity. You'll notice he never thinks about the others before his betrayal. He only thinks of how it will affect Fluttershy.Β

Well they are all good friends, I just they would how he hang out with the other four. He like to annoy Twilight and we all seen how he send his time with Fluttershy but now he hanging out with the other four and we have no idea on what they do together.

No, Tartarus is the 'maximum security' part of the Underworld, which is why the Titians are kept there.

Problem is that that didn't come to mind. Let's face it, Discord misses being a villain. Even though friendship is greater, and he knows it, he still secretly aches for the time when he was able to do whatever he wants, whenever he wants, without any consequences.

And then only one of them actually treats him as something more than just an annoyance and actually respects their friendship.

Ya I do agree if mlp would stay focus on their arcs but they seem more focus on single episodes which is fine but a little more nods aND side plots would help.
