Commission done for ~MercenaryX . He wanted a picture of Rhea transformed into a mermaid while Lucky is teaching her how to swim for the first time in front of his brother Telos' house. This is the first commission I've done with my own characters so it was a fun experience. Work goes a lot faster when you're familiar with the characters you have to draw.^^Rhea and Lucky are characters from my comic Moon Reflected in Water [link]

It's always easy to tell when a picture of yours comes along on the Watch list. Few can make a merfolk scene appear this warm, vivid and fanciful. Not only are the characters visions of beauty in themselves, but the surroundings and backgrounds always glow with such deep, dream-like colours.

It is kinds big. But my thought is that it has to be since merfolk are good swimmers.He is pretty tall as a human though. ^^

Thank you, they do surprisingly look good together. There's a bit of spoiler going on in the comments lol. But most of Luckys' info can be found on his character sheet. It explains a bite about how he came to be in koi form at the start of MRIW.

Me too! In the dating sim game i'm making she actually gets to visits Luckys' underwater house but she doesn't have to turn into a mermaid to do so.

Think this could be a bonus scene if you have a possible hidden item, or something just extra. Just be awesome to have the option, but make us work for it.

I've been thinking of that while drawing your commission. In the game each guy will offer to take Rhea on a secret date if she gives him a certain item. I'm thinking that maybe Lucky will find a way for her to be a mermaid temporarily and they go on an underwater themed date. I just haven't though about where or what they could do on said date.

Maybe an underwater amusement park? Out for a dinner, maybe to a coral garden in the form of a botanical garden like the one in Vancouverm but merfolk based and making kissies?

Thank you, i'm glad you like it! I messed around for a bit on colors for her tail but I ended up liking the reddish pink and orange yellow combo the best. Plus her tail colors ended up being similar to Kyras' so that worked out well.

Just a few people thought they were related. But when you look at them closely you'll notice that they both have purple eyes and a tan skintone. So eventually Kyra and Aiden meet up again, at least long enough to concieve a child lol.
